Here are a few facts about us:

• The Home was started because of a dream Mrs. Sheila Surujpaul received one night.
• Mrs. Surujpaul immediately presented the dream to her husband Rev. Surujpaul. Then to her four children for their input. Everyone agreed with the dream.
• In 2005 Rev. and Mrs. Surujpaul started the process of legally establishing Bless the Children Home Nonprofit 501c(3) organization in the US.
• That same year they went to Guyana to establish an NGO to help with the building and execution of the dream God had shown Mrs. Surujpaul.
• In 2008 the home was dedicated on Rev. Surujpaul’s birthday, September 27th. The year they both turned 60.
• Together they ran the Home until they passed way in 2018 at 70 years old.
• Today the Home is run by their children, with their eldest, Dr. Fiona Pyszka, presiding as President.
• Our Home continues to be a debt free organization and will continue to be, because of generous donors as yourself.
• Everything we receive is put back to work for the rescuing and proper upbringing of children worldwide.
• Guyana is the first (and currently only) orphanage under the Bless the Children name. The dream was to go worldwide to help children in need.
• All donations are tax deductible in the US.
